1997

34 acres purchased by Archdiocese of Philadelphia at York and Quarry Roads in Buckingham. (Proposed Parish site #1, rejected due to X)

2000

Announcement of new parish to be formed from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Doylestown.  May 2000

Clergy assigned to New Parish in Buckingham.  Fr. Joseph Quindlen, Pastor,  Fr. Robert McDermott, Parochial Vicar, and Deacon Joseph Gousie, Permanent Deacon. June 2000

Parish named Our Lady of Guadalupe by parishioner vote. June 2000

Foundation of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, celebrated by more nearly 2000 families. July 2000 

Purchase of Rectory in Fireside Development. July 2000

Lease of Parish Offices at HollyBerry Square Shopping Center.  July 2000

OLG Parish religious education on Tuesdays through OLMC CCD. September 2000 

Parish Sunday Masses begin at Central Bucks East High School.       October 2000

Parish Liturgical Ministries organized and active. October 2000

First Christmas Celebration for OLG Parish. December 2000

2001

First Confirmation Class for Parish.  March 2001

First Easter Triduum Celebration for Parish.  April 2001

First Parish Holy Communion Class.  May 2001

OLG CCD begins at Holicong Middle School.  September 2001

Parish Pastoral and Finance Councils established. October 2001

Tithing and Stewardship initiated in parish. October 2001

2002

Building Committee established for Development of Property.  May 2002

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes begin for adults interested in the Catholic Faith.  September 2002

Children’s Liturgy of the Word established.  March 2003
