TOWN HALL MEETING INFO

PARISH PICNIC has been scheduled for September 12, 2010 at Holicong Park from 1:00pm to 5:pm.
The cost for adult - $10.00, cost for child -$7.00 – Children under the age of 5 free.  Ticket covers hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and salad. There will be games for the children and the adults. Come join the fun! Bring a chair if you want! FUN FOR ALL!

Football Mania is Here!  Participation is easy - 2 tickets coming soon to your mailbox! Send check payable to Our Lady of Guadalupe and the completed ticket stubs to the parish office. Additional tickets are also available for purchase.

Catechists Needed  Our fall semester begins soon and we still need of volunteers. Thanks to all who have recently volunteered, and to those who have not volunteered your service as of yet, we need you!

KNIT? CROCHET? QUILT? Prayer Shawl Ministry Forming The Health and Wellness Ministry is interested in starting a prayer shawl ministry at OLG. We could meet once a week or so and work on making lap robes or shawls or small blankets for the sick and elderly. It is a good time to share fellowship, prayer and refreshments in addition to making the shawls. Anyone with interest in these crafts who would like to help form the group, or is interested in joining, can contact Maureen Sapelli at (215) 794-5764 or maureenm23@gmail.com This project is still in the planning stages, so all suggestions are welcome.

Prayer Intentions   A Prayer Intention Book will be in the back of the auditorium after all Masses. This book will contain the names of those in need of our prayers. Please add the names of your loved ones, if they would like to be remembered at daily Mass in our Chapel. The book will be placed in the Chapel for daily Mass where those in need of our prayers will be remembered at the Prayer of the Faithful.

Health and Wellness Ministry: The next meeting of the Health and Wellness Ministry is Wednesday, September 29 at 7:00 pm in the parish office conference room. All are welcome to attend. You do not have to have a medical back ground to participate in our projects. If you have any questions about any of the projects that the Health and Wellness Ministry is doing, please contact Maureen Sapelli at 215-794-5764 or maureenm23@gmail.com

Need Help? Do you need help with doing errands? Would you like to have a friendly visitor or someone with whom to pray? Are you going through a difficult time and would like some support?  Contact the Health and Wellness Ministry. We have people available who might be able to help. We are not offering health care, but we are offering assistance to parishioners who are in need of some special care. Respect Life
The Respect Life Group of Our Lady of Guadalupe is looking for volunteers who would be willing to help out for an hour each month by praying and giving witness at the Planned Parenthood Abortion Center located on Louis Drive in Warminster. Our parish covers the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9:00 – 3:00 pm. Volunteers are needed for each hour.  If you can help out, please contact Pat Dowling by e-mail at dowling1378@msn.com

NEW FAMILY REGISTRATION New families must be registered in our parish prior to enrolling in PREP. New family registration forms may be downloaded from the PREP page or obtained from the PREP office. A baptismal certificate must accompany new registrations.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Book Club  Let’s share our Faith on our spiritual journey and be helped along by some inspirational authors. The first meeting of the OLG Book Club will be on Monday, June 7 at the Parish Office at 9:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m.

The Sacrament of Penance will be celebrated one half-hour before each Saturday evening and Sunday morning Mass. Confessions will be heard in Room 101 of Central Bucks East until 10 minutes before Mass begins. Those coming to Confession will have the option of confessing anonymously or face-to-face.

Children's Liturgy of the Word is every Sunday during the Liturgy of the Word at the 10:00 am Mass and only when Mass is at Central Bucks East High School.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, San Juan Diego Chapel, Hollyberry Square, First Friday of every month 8:30am-4pm. Call Parish office to sign-up.
