L.I.F.E. is the new name of our youth group. It was chosen by the teen youth group leadership team. It stands for Living In Faith Everyday. The L.I.F.E. youth group consists of parishioners (in grades 7-12) from OLG as well as St. Martin of Tours (New Hope)

To Save a Life discussion group

Parental Permission via email is required. This discussion group is based on the movie To Save a Life. If you were unable to join us for the movie you can rent it through Net Flix or Amazon Instant Video. It is a fantastic movie that is well worth watching.

Movie Synopsis: Meet Jake Taylor, who seemingly has it all; a basketball scholarship, good looks, a cheerleader girlfriend and “an in” with the in-crowd. But when a loner, an old friend from his past, shoots himself at school, Jake’s world is turned upside down.  Jake seeks answers on how he could have made a difference.

Our discussion group will be meeting at the OLG parish office on 5/17, 5/22, and 5/29 from 7:00-8:30pm.

Session 1:  Lowering the Waterline — Loving the hurting and lonely in our community.

Session 2:   Reaching our hurting peers – actions are louder than words.

Session 3: Say something…Do Something, time to make a difference
