Volunteer Clearance and Forms
Volunteers are a welcome and valued member of our team. As part of the safe environment policy, ALL volunteers, WITHOUT exception, must complete all the background checks and clearances.
As part of our Catholic commitment to safe environments, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia recently updated its policies and training curriculum for mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. These new policies reflect the Church’s commitment to always do more, as well as new Pennsylvania state laws that went into effect on July 1, 2015.
If you have direct contact with children, you may be a mandated reporter. Information is available at www.childyouthprotection.org. As we continue to do all we can to keep our children safe, also know that the Office of Child and Youth Protection provides services, resources, and support toward healing for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and their families. Victim services can be reached at 1-888-800-8780, or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
