Welcome to Our Lady of Guadalupe parish family! We are blessed to have you as companions on our journey of faith.
This is an exciting time in our parish, with our new church and the recently completed Parish Life Center.
We are looking forward to the completion of the parish courtyard in the near future. Your full, active participation in our parish will enhance the quality of our worshipping community. The OLg TEAM
Our pastor, parochial vicar, deacon and parish staff are here to assist our parish members, ministries and community. We also have many dedicated volunteers who serve as council members, ministry leaders and parish volunteers.
Our staff is committed to helping our parishioners practice their faith and supports our parish clergy. Located at the Parish Life Center, the OLG staff handles the day-to-day work of a busy parish so they can assist our parish clergy, ministries, membership, and the local community.
PARISH BUSINESS MANAGER
Tom Rakszawski holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA from LaSalle University. He has over 35 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing and Payroll and has worked in the Insurance and Pharmaceutical industries, as well as higher education. He resides in Warminster, where he serves on the music ministry at Nativity of Our Lord parish. Tom enjoys playing the clarinet and saxophone and plays in two community bands.
Before joining the OLG staff in 2008, Karen’s more than fifteen year administrative career in the legal and financial fields brought her from Smithtown, New York, to Doylestown. Today you can find her in the OLG office in her role as Executive Secretary.
Jeanne Senour joined the OLG office family as Parish Secretary in November 2012. Jeanne has been a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish since its doors opened in 2000. She and her family moved to Doylestown from Illinois in 1997. For eight years, Jeanne volunteered as a PREP teacher while her daughters were going through the program. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, she spent many years as an administrative assistant and marketing manager. When you come into the office make sure to stop by and say Hello!
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATION AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
Teresa Fischer is responsible for parish communication including the weekly parish bulletin, the website and social media. She also manages private rentals in the social hall. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Bloomsburg University and previously worked in health care marketing, and as a freelance writer. She and her family have been members of Our Lady of Guadalupe since July 2000 and enjoy being a part of such a wonderful parish.
Paola Cubides Herrera
DIRECTOR OF HISPANIC MINISTRY
Paola Cubides Herrera has joined the parish staff as Director of Hispanic Ministry. Mrs. Herrera's desire is to outreach and strengthen the participation of the Hispanic community into the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish's dynamic life. Mrs. Herrera has a bachelor’s degree in business and currently is pursuing her master’s degree in church management at Villanova University. She lives in Northeast Philadelphia with her husband and two sons.
DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY
Lisa Kopertowski has joined the parish staff as Director of Youth Ministry. Mrs. Kopertowski is looking forward to developing a fruitful and dynamic youth ministry for Our Lady of Guadalupe parish. Mrs. Kopertowski is a member of St. Andrew Parish in Newtown and has an extensive youth volunteer experience at St. John the Evangelist in Morrisville, PA and St. Ignatius in Yardley, PA. She lives in Newtown with her husband and children.
Daniel A. Drain, M.T.S., Ph. D (Cand.)
DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Daniel A. Drain is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family in Washington, DC, where he previously completed a Pontifical Master of Theological Studies degree in 2016.Mr. Drain joined OLG as the Director of Religious Education in March of 2019 after completing his coursework for the Ph.D., with a focus on Person, Marriage, and Family. His forthcoming dissertation takes up the question of the relationship between divine and human freedom in light of Christ’s descent into Hell on Holy Saturday. His other writings have addressed the nature of classical education and the meaning and significance of tradition in light of the Church’s task of educating the people of God. Additionally, he teaches courses in the Theology department at DeSales University as an adjunct. Recently married, Daniel lives with his wife, Mary Colleen, in Souderton, PA.
DIRECTOR OF LITURGICAL MUSIC
Paula, our Director of Liturgical Music, came to us from Holy Name of Jesus Church in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, where she served as Director of Music. She is a member of the National Pastoral Musicians Organization, the American Guild of Organists, the American Chorale Directors Association and the Lower Bucks Choral Society.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR DIRECTOR
Lisa Simon and family have been members of OLG Parish since it originated. Lisa is a music educator. She earned her BA in Music Education from Rowan University and her MM in Piano Performance from The Catholic University of America. Lisa directs the Children’s Choir and the Christian Rock band. Lisa is also involved with the Children’s Liturgy. Lisa teaches elementary music in Melrose Park and private piano lessons. When Lisa is involved with her music at OLG she won’t be alone! Look for the accompaniment of her incredibly musical family!
PARISH FACILITIES SUPERVISOR
Joseph Balaza resides with his wife in Doylestown and has been a member of OLG since 2013. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Bioscience from The College of New Jersey and St. Francis Medical Center with extended studies in Business Administration and Statistics. Joseph brings over 30 years of managerial experience, previously working in the clinical and pharmaceutical industry, as well as the skill sets required for the operations of facility oversight and maintenance.
PARISH FACILITIES ASSOCIATE
Vince Romendio has over 40 years of experience in the building and heavy construction trades as a project manager. For the past 27 years, he worked in the food industry as Director of facilities, maintenance and construction of several company owned buildings. He has been a member of St. Agnes Parish in Sellersville since 1984. Originally from Maple Glen, Vince resides in West Rockhill with his wife and high school sweetheart Kathleen. They have four married children and seven grandchildren with one more on the way! Vince enjoys traveling with his wife especially to Italy, listening to music, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He is excited for this new opportunity to be a part of the Our Lady of Guadalupe community.
PARISH AND PREP ASSISTANT SECRETARY
Joanna Huckel has joined the parish staff as Parish and PREP Assistant Secretary. Joanna and her family joined the parish after moving to Doylestown in 2005. She has spent most of her time volunteering at many local organizations. Joanna is looking forward to working with the Parish and PREP families.

Parish Life Center
The Parish Life Center (PLC) is the center of activities for Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. It’s our place to get together and carry out the work of Jesus. It houses the Parish Office, the social hall and meeting rooms.
