OLG has committed to being a vibrant, welcoming and GROWING parish. To do that we need many Missionary Disciples - people actively living out their faith and comfortable in sharing that faith with others around them - in evangelizing.
To help us do that we have introduced the ChristLife program.
Those who have attended the course, have discovered a new or deeper faith in Jesus Christ, enhancing their daily experience of living as His Disciples. They have developed a greater sense of Christian community and found new friendships. The ChristLife courses are an excellent way to revitalize your faith and a great experience to share with family and friends who have been away from the Church.
Here are a few testimonies from that group:

-
Each week there was something that struck my heart, which positively impacted my week and my prayer life.
-
Increased and deepened my love for Christ.
-
I feel reconnected to the Church.
-
I am so ready to continue the spiritual journey!!
-
This course has led me into a more spiritual life with a lot more prayer on a daily basis.
-
I feel more inspired and invigorated in our faith and more able to share it with others.

Discovering Christ is the starting point in the three-part ChristLife series. This is a unique seven-session experience where participants gather to share a meal, listen to dynamic teaching and then explore life’s “big questions” about God and finding ultimate purpose in life.

Session topics:
What is the Meaning of Life?, ]Why Does Jesus Matter?, What Does Jesus Want US to Know?, Why Do We Need a Savior?, Why is the Resurrection Important?, Who is the Holy Spirit?, Why Do We Need Church?
Following Christ is the second course. It is the perfect next step for those that have participated in the Discovering Christ course. The seven-sessions focus on how to live as a Catholic disciple. The sessions offer practical teaching on how to grow in love of God and one another. Evenings include a time of prayer, a video talk, small group discussion and light refreshments.

Session topics:
Daily Personal Prayer, Hearing God in Scripture, The Power of the Sacraments, Forgiving One Another, The Heart of a Disciple, and more.

Sharing Christ is the third course that invites those that have participated in Discovering Christ and Following Christ to go deeper. Participants grow in knowledge, confidence and learn practical ways to reach out in love to others (family, friends, neighbors and all those God brings into their life) to invite them to know the peace, love and joy that is found through faith in Jesus Christ.
