Thanksgiving Food Drive

November 17, 2019

When:

November 16 & 17, 2019

  • Deliver the “baskets” to the narthex at all the Masses.

The 8th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will benefit both The Lord’s Pantry and the Doylestown Pantry. In past years, members of the parish have generously donated the Thanksgiving meal fixings. Last year we collected 124 boxes and 1,530 pounds of extra food.

We are asking for every family that is able, to provide all of the following items for one needy family in a sturdy bag, box or basket. If you cannot provide all of the listed items, then anything you donate will be helpful.

Deliver the “baskets” to the narthex at all the Masses. If you want to add anything special or festive (Thanksgiving napkins, candy, small gourd, candles etc.) to your box, please do.

Health and Wellness Ministry members will deliver the food. If you need assistance carrying your donation, just ask. Any questions, please contact Maureen Sapelli.

Requested items:
instant mashed potatoes, or real potatoes
cranberry sauce,
stuffing and gravy,

sweet potatoes,
juice and coffee,
canned corn and another canned vegetable
two cans of fruit
dessert mix and JELL-O

Deliver the “baskets” to the narthex at all the Masses. If you want to add anything special or festive (Thanksgiving napkins, candy, small gourd, candles etc.) to your box, please do. Health and Wellness Ministry members will deliver the food.
