Did you know that Philadelphia has the highest rate of deep poverty in the United States? Living in deep poverty translates into an annual income of $6,380 for an individual and $13,100 for a family of four.

Face to Face provides services to reduce the suffering caused by poverty. They offer a soup kitchen, legal, health and social services. By taking an egg from the Easter Giving Tree you can help provide: a week of healthy meals to reduce hunger ($50); ID so the client can gain access to employment, housing and benefits ($30.50); a visit to the health center to heal the sick ($25); or a hot shower for the homeless ($10). If you couldn’t get an egg, you can still donate.

Easter Giving Tree Egg Donations can be made by:

  • · Poor Box, OLG Church Poor Box is inside the church behind the last row of pews on the right.

  • · Drop Box, OLG Parish Life Center Drop box located to the left of the front doors before you enter the building.

  • · Online at

The coronavirus has increased the need in vulnerable communities that Face to Face serves. Thank you for your generosity.

Please make checks payable to Face to Face.
Address envelopes to the attention of  Katie Mullen.
