Father Guckin and I want to thank Sister Thomasann for her nearly 40 years of service to OLMC School and the Sisters of Saint Francis for almost 150 years of contributions to our school community. If you'd like to express your love and gratitude to Sister Thomasann, please plan to attend our school Mass on May 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and/or express your sentiments by sending cards to school c/o Sister Thomasann.

If they choose to, families and adults with disabilities can join us for Mass in the Saint Juan Diego Chapel or in the main Church.

First Friday Observation

When:
Friday, May 03, 2024

Time:
After the 8:00 a.m. Mass until Benediction at 4:00 p.m.

Where:
Our Lady of Guadalupe Church

First Friday is a special time of grace and blessing, as it enables us, through Eucharistic Adoration, to grow closer to Our Lord, Who is present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament. First Friday is a time to slow down a bit and receive God's love into our hearts, so we in turn can give that love to others. Eucharistic Adoration is a great way to
focus on Jesus and be refreshed in His service!

How can I get Involved in this Special Time?
Visit OLG Church and spend some quiet time in prayer with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The church will be open after the 8 a.m. Mass until the Benediction at 4 p.m. Sign up for a half-hour of Eucharistic Adoration today. Or just show up! Call the parish office to sign up.

MONDAYS - ONGOING

Join Us for Vespers - on ZOOM!

Evening Prayer (also called Vespers) is part of the Church’s Liturgy of the Hours (or Divine Office) that the clergy pray to remain close to God throughout the day. We are all encouraged to pray these sacred prayers, and now we can do so together via Zoom!

This special prayer period is unique, because it includes music, images, and songs that create a spiritual experience and leave you feeling peaceful at the end of the day. It lasts about 20 minutes, and there is no commitment (join us any Monday you can).

For more information or to receive the Zoom link each week, email Dr. Nina Marie Corona, the new Director of Adult Faith Formation at OLG, at daff@olguadalupe.org or sign up for the Vespers group through the Flocknotes sign up the parish website homepage.
