Anointing of the Sick

"They anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them"

- Mark 6:13

Request an Anointing

Anointing is available by appointment during the week, or upon request during the weekend. Please contact us if you or a loved one would like to receive the sacrament.

In addition, a communion call in which a Eucharistic minister brings communion to your home, can  be requested.

The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick

What is Anointing of the Sick? The name Jesus means “God saves”. The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament in which the priest prays, lays hands, and anoints the sick person with the blessed oil.

This sacrament extends God’s grace of spiritual strength, peace, and courage to those suffering from serious illness, injury, impending surgery or advanced age.
