October - 2020

Spiritual Communion Prayer

This is a devotion we can perform on our own whether we are at Mass and not receiving the Eucharist sacramentally or if we are anywhere else. This can be done while watching a broadcast of the Mass on the Internet or even in our morning or evening prayers.

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar.

I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan, and the other evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen
