High School Youth Ministry
We get it. Teens just want a cool place to get together. With ping-pong, pool, video games, music, food and comfy chairs, the OLG Youth Room is a fantastic place to meet.
When the weather is nice, teens hang outside playing dodgeball, volleyball, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, minute-to-win-it games and so much more. Our youth groups like rope courses, ice skating, bowling, laser tag, hayrides and more.
We also help others by working in soup kitchens, making gifts for families, helping those in need and other service projects throughout the year. Teens also participate in a youth Mass each month and take opportunities to learn more about their faith.
Our high school students also have the opportunity to attend the Steubenville High School Conference, concerts, World Youth Day, Abbey Fest and more. Sound like fun? Then come join us!

Youth Ministry News
At the Eucharistic Congress this past Saturday, OLG Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry Lisa Kopertowski was blessed to have had a few minutes to speak with Mrs. Antonia Salzano Acutis.
Lisa thanked her for sharing her son, Carlo Acutis, with our parish. Carlo was a Catholic Italian teenager who died in 2006 and was beatified on October 10, 2020. Lisa often shares the message of Carlo with others as he was the driving force behind the Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit that has been featured at OLG.

First Meeting: COMING SOON
Friendships are crucial in high school and teens will meet many new friends in youth ministry Being accepted, seen, heard and needed is vital to every person, especially in high school. We ask students to step out in faith and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We provide many opportunities to encounter Him during the year.
We discuss moral and faith issues that students struggle with. We encourage sharing and have small group discussions. We are real and focus on Jesus, His Word and the Catholic Church’s teaching.
