Sixth GRADE - PREP online
Sacred Scripture
This is a Catechist led, parent managed program. Catechists teach students online, and parents use the tool to reinforce learning in the home. In Sixth Grade PREP students will spend the year immersed in God's Word in the Sacred Scriptures, and explore how the Bible communicates God's plan of salvation to us.
Things the students will learn in Sixth Grade religious instruction.

Includes basics of reading the Bible, Magisterial authority, praying with Scripture, how the Bible is different from other books, and the four senses of Scripture.

Finally, students experience a comprehensive exploration of the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation, all through the lens of the Incarnation.

While it's important for your children to understand the Faith, Spirit of Truth is designed to help them internalize the Faith and apply it to their own lives, providing ample opportunity for them to reflect on how everything they are learning applies to their own lived experience.

PREP Catechist Instructional Videos
Every week a new video lesson created by your Catechist will appear in this section of the webpage. Please watch and complete each lesson as required. Since these lessons are pre-recorded, students are encouraged to pace themselves as needed, pausing for breaks, returning a few days later, revisiting later in the year. We will post weekly and suggest completing each lesson weekly, but families should access when appropriate for their own schedules.
